The article examines an indirect export scheme based on cooperation between small business entities and intermediary export organizations (IEOs), as well as a methodology for assessing its synergistic effect. Public, specialized association-based, and commercial forms of IEOs are identified, and the criteria for their selection are substantiated. Export costs are classified into five groups and twelve items, and a formula is proposed for decomposing the synergy effect by individual cost items. Using the example of 600 tons of products supplied by 12 business entities, it is established that exporting through an association reduces export costs from USD 402,000 to USD 308,000 (by 23.4%), increases export efficiency from 0.963 to 1.032, and generates a synergistic effect of 7.19%. The implementation of this scheme among enterprises affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry yields an effect ranging from 5.3% to 7.2%.Keywords
