This article examines Uzbekistan's efforts within the framework of its transition to a green economy, focusing on
the current state and future prospects for the utilization of renewable energy sources. It analyzes the impact of the expanding
renewable energy sector, driven by global initiatives and international agreements, on the country’s economic growth.
As part of “Uzbekistan’s 2019–2030 Green Economy Transition Strategy”, various measures are being implemented to
enhance the effectiveness of green economy mechanisms in achieving sustainable development. Additionally, the article
provides practical recommendations and conclusions on accelerating the transition to a green economy.
