This article explores key directions for enhancing the efficiency of regional tourism in the Republic of
Karakalpakstan through the effective utilization of internal industry reserves. Particular attention is given to the importance
of a systematic approach to the off-season period, including improving staff qualifications, certifying infrastructure,
conducting maintenance and landscaping activities, and developing affordable tourism programs. The proposed measures
contribute to stabilizing employment, increasing enterprise profitability, improving the quality of tourism services, and
fostering a sustainable model of regional tourism development.
