This article analyzes the issues of ensuring food security in the context of Uzbekistan and explores the potential
for cultivating import-substituting tropical fruits through vertical (multi-storey) greenhouses located in industrial areas. The
study scientifically substantiates mechanisms for reducing production costs, improving energy efficiency, and enhancing
export potential by utilizing waste heat generated by industrial enterprises
