This article is devoted to the study of the issues of ensuring the optimality of quantitative and qualitative indicators
in the effective organization of the housing stock in the Khorezm region. The study used statistical analysis, economic
evaluation and qualitative analysis methods. The results showed that the effective organization of the housing stock is
associated with meeting the housing needs of the population, saving financial resources and improving the quality of
construction. The article allows developing practical recommendations
