Abstract

This study focuses on enhancing the reservoir safety assessment and management system, with the Talimarjon
Reservoir serving as a case study. The research identifies current challenges in monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining
the structural and operational integrity of reservoirs. By integrating modern computational modeling, risk assessment
techniques and real-time monitoring systems, the study proposes a comprehensive framework for optimizing safety and
operational efficiency. The approach emphasizes proactive maintenance, risk mitigation and decision-making based on
quantitative data, ensuring that reservoirs operate reliably under varying environmental and operational conditions. The
findings demonstrate that the implementation of an integrated safety management system significantly improves reservoir
reliability, reduces the probability of structural failures and supports sustainable water resource management
