This article provides a comprehensive analysis of Uzbekistan’s involvement in the international transport system
and its geostrategic significance. Due to the country's lack of direct access to seaports, it heavily relies on various transit
corridors for its foreign trade activities. In this regard, the diversification of international transport routes has become one of
Uzbekistan’s key strategic priorities. The article examines the strengths and weaknesses of existing routes and highlights
the advantages of emerging alternatives such as the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, the Trans-Caspian corridor,
and the Uzbekistan–Iran route. Particular attention is paid to political stability, economic feasibility, and the development
of transport and logistics infrastructure. The article also puts forward specific recommendations for optimizing transport
policy, enhancing private sector participation, and strengthening international cooperation.
