This study presents the development of a liquid de-icing formulation based on calcium and magnesium nitrates obtained from locally sourced dolomite and supplemented with urea. The technological process, physicochemical properties, and operational performance of the reagent were investigated. Laboratory results confirmed effective performance at temperatures as low as −28 °C, while the Uzavtoyul Road Research Institute recommended its application for road de-icing at temperatures down to −32 °C. Field-scale trials were conducted at the Kamchik Pass on the A-373 Tashkent– Osh highway. A techno-economic comparison of the NKMM de-icing reagent with conventional sand–salt mixtures was performed for a 122-km road section. The developed formulation demonstrated practical potential for winter road maintenance, and its production was documented under technical specification TSh 00203068-24:2014. The findings support the feasibility of processing domestic dolomite resources into liquid de-icing materials, although further environmental and long-term durability assessments are warranted. Keywords
