Abstract

This article analyzes the level of adaptation of public infrastructure for persons with disabilities in the city of Bukhara using a comprehensive and systematic approach. The study examines the current state of the urban transport system, social services, tourism facilities, and public buildings through empirical observation, comparative analysis, and sociological methods. The findings indicate that positive changes are taking place in the modernization of infrastructure, while broader implementation of universal design principles can further expand opportunities for free movement and full access to services for persons with disabilities. The relationship between the historical urban environment and contemporary inclusive requirements was also identified as an important area requiring balanced solutions. Based on international experience and best practices, the article develops scientific and practical recommendations aimed at advancing inclusive infrastructure in the city of Bukhara.
