Abstract

Modern mechanisms for ensuring competitiveness in the services market under conditions of technological transformation, changing consumer demands and preferences, increasing market openness, and intensifying international competition are examined. Service quality, customer orientation, digitalization, innovation, productivity, pricing flexibility, human capital, and regulatory conditions are analyzed as interconnected determinants of competitiveness. Based on official statistical data from Uzbekistan and analytical approaches developed by the World Bank and OECD, structural changes in the national services market are identified, and the factors contributing to strengthening the competitive position of service providers are assessed. Particular attention is paid to knowledge-intensive services, digital technologies, productivity improvement, and the development of export-oriented service models. The findings indicate that sustainable competitiveness cannot be achieved through price competition alone and requires an integrated mechanism combining technological modernization, service quality, customer experience, innovation, and institutional support.
