Abstract

This article analyses the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of service delivery in local higher education institutions, examining trends from 2020 to 2025 across selected universities in different regions of Uzbekistan. The study is grounded in the premise that digitalisation is not merely a technical upgrade but a comprehensive institutional mechanism for managing higher education services. Based on the growth of regional student populations, enrolment dynamics, and the diversification of learning formats, the study examines the potential efficiency gains associated with scaling operations, distance learning, and digital integration and develops a system of indicators to assess the effectiveness of digital transformation in higher education institutions.
