This article analyzes Uzbekistan’s practical mechanisms for financing the transition to a green economy during 2021-2026 - sovereign/corporate green bonds and foreign direct investment (FDI) in renewable energy. The results of a descriptive and statistical analysis based on secondary sources (OECD, UNDP, EBRD, IRENA, official GGGI reports) show that in 2021-2024, the country issued a total of $1.2 billion in sovereign international bonds, and from the end of 2023 to the end of 2024, the installed solar energy capacity increased almost fivefold. The article presents Uzbekistan’s experience as a replicable model for emerging economies. Keywords
