Abstract

The purpose of this article is to systematize the theoretical and methodological foundations of adaptive models of economic management in higher education institutions and to substantiate a conceptual model applicable to the conditions of Uzbekistan. The methodology includes a comparative theoretical analysis of the theories of cybernetics, complex adaptive systems, organizational learning, and dynamic capabilities, along with historical-logical and systems approaches. As a result, the evolution of paradigms of university economic management was classified into four stages; traditional and adaptive management were compared across eleven parameters; and a five-stage adaptive cycle and a three-level structural model were proposed. The conclusion identifies the methodological conditions required for implementing the adaptive model.
