INVESTIGATION OF THE KINETICS AND OPTIMAL CONDITIONS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FECL₃ COAGULANT FROM TEBINBULOQ

Abstract

The kinetic regularities and optimal technological conditions for producing an iron(III) chloride (FeCl₃) coagulant from iron ore of the Tebinbulak deposit, located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, are investigated. The effects of ore particle size, hydrochloric acid concentration, temperature, reaction time, and reagent ratio on the formation of FeCl₃ are examined. Based on the experimental results, the optimal conditions for coagulant production are determined, and the possibilities for increasing product yield and improving its quality characteristics are evaluated. The physicochemical properties of the obtained FeCl₃ coagulant are analyzed, and its efficiency in the treatment of industrial wastewater is assessed.
